Ørsted has announced the inauguration of the Greater Changhua 1 and 2a offshore wind farms in Taiwan. With a total installed capacity of 900 MW, the two offshore wind farms are in operation and fully connected to the grid, making them the largest of their kind in Taiwan and in the Asia-Pacific region. -

The all-time high production in the quarter follows from the Statfjord acquisition in combination with continued strong performance particularly from operated assets. -

Equinor delivered adjusted operating income of USD 7.53 billion and USD 2.57 billion after tax in the first quarter of 2024. Equinor reported net operating income of USD 7.63 billion and net income at USD 2.67 billion. Adjusted net income was USD 2.84 billion, leading to adjusted earnings per share of USD 0.96. -

Sintana Energy has entered into a definitive agreement with Crown Energy, a private Namibian company, providing for the acquisition by the Company from Crown of up to 67% of the issued and outstanding shares of Giraffe Energy Investments.
