Please quote Job Ref: DNP6149 My client is a large international firm of working closely with one of the major oil and gas Operators who work on large projects worldwide. They now have a requirement for an experienced and well qualified Head of Project Controls to join them at management level in Calgary, Canada. You will be involved in all aspects of the management of large scale upstream and downstream projects, and in this role you will act as the Key Account Manager with the Operator client and you will head up a team working in Calgary and further afield in Canada. Your day to day tasks will involve working closely with clients developing and monitoring project control processes, carrying out procurement and administering subsequent contracts, generating and maintaining schedules. Additional activities include supporting the client's day to day running of their project, involvement in monitoring and tracking costs across the projects, supporting project reviews, reporting Earned Value metrics and ultimately providing a genuine added value service to the client. Duties will include:- Developing and monitoring schedules using Primavera P3 and MS Project - Generate and report Earned Value metrics, monitoring and tracking costs across projects - Developing and implementing any project controls deemed necessary for the success of the project - Provide support to the client\'s day to day running of the project - Attend project management reviews and vendor meetings - Provide procurement support - Tracking and reporting change control - Attending and supporting Risk Reviews and analysis. Ideally you will be Degree qualified and possibly be chartered. You must have significant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry and be seeking a Career role. Salary is highly negotiable.
