Kistos has entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire EDF Energy (Gas Storage) from EDF Energy (Thermal Generation) which owns two gas storage facilities onshore UK, Hill Top Farm and Hole House Farm. The total consideration for the transaction is £25 million.

The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has granted Aker BP consent to drill exploration well 24/6-5 in the North Sea. The well will be drilled by the Noble Integrator jack-up drilling facility to test the Alvheim Deep Prospect in Production Licence 203.

Kenya: Vestas divests its shares in Lake Turkana Wind Power
Vestas has completed the sale of its 12,5 percent shares in Lake Turkana Wind Power (LTWP) in Kenya. The shares have been acquired by the Climate Finance Partnership (CFP), which is managed by BlackRock. With its 310 MW, the LTWP wind farm remains the largest in Africa to date.

Norway/India: Equinor signs a 15-year LNG agreement with Deepak Fertilisers
Equinor and the Indian fertiliser and petrochemical company Deepak Fertilisers have signed a 15-year agreement for supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG) with deliveries starting in 2026. Equinor’s growing global LNG portfolio is based on LNG from the Equinor operated LNG Plant in Hammerfest, Norway and LNG supply sourced mainly from the US.
