Norway: Aker BP partners with GCE Subsea Cluster

Aker BP has joined Norway's GCE Subsea Cluster as a new industry partner. GCE Subsea is one of Norway’s three Global Centres of Expertise representing Norway's subsea industry.
'Aker BP is one of the most innovative, capable and competent oil and gas companies operating in Norway. They will strengthen the technical subsea competence in the cluster, and it is our great pleasure, to announce our partnership,' says Owe Hagesæther, CEO of GCE Subsea.
'Aker BP values the clusters national and international network and their driving role in the industry driven R&D and Innovation processes,' says Tove Ormevik, Offshore Installation Manager, Skarv FPSO at Aker BP.
'We also focus on building relations with the Oceans Industries Incubator and the Startup and ScaleUp programmes and companies in GCE Subsea, and we believe this will prove to be a useful arena for innovation relevant to our value chain,' Ormevik concludes.
