UK Government grants consent to Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind Farm in the Southern North Sea
The UK Government has today granted consent for the Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind farm, located in the Southern North Sea, 54km (33 miles) from the Lincolnshire Coast. Once operational, the project will bolster UK energy security producing 1.5GW of renewable power, equivalent to that used by 1.6million homes, or 80% of all the households in the East Midlands. -

Santos announces 2025 Annual Reserves Statement and 2025 full year results additional guidance
Santos thas released its Annual Reserves Statement reporting proved plus probable (2P) reserves of 1,484 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe) at the end of 2025. Germany: Nordseecluster offshore wind project: Substations ready for installation in German North Sea
A ceremony held today at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, marked the successful completion of the design, construction and integration phases of two offshore electrical substations, which will become the operational heart of Phase A of the Nordseecluster offshore wind project, a collaboration between RWE (51%) and Norges Bank Investment Management (49%), which is currently under construction off the German coast. -

UK: RWE secures Contracts for Difference for 290 megawatts of solar PV and onshore wind capacity in UK Allocation Round 7
The UK government has announced the results of Allocation Round 7 (AR7) for ‘Pot 1’ established renewable technologies, including onshore wind and solar PV. In the competitive auction, five RWE solar projects comprising 215 megawatts (MW) and three onshore wind projects totalling 76 MW were successful. -

Poland: ORLEN accelerates its LNG expansion: more deliveries, stronger fleet and growing import capacity
2025 was a record-breaking year for the LNG segment in Poland. Shipments of liquefied natural gas received by the ORLEN Group at the Swinoujscie terminal amounted to 81 – up by 20 compared with the previous year. The total volume of seaborne LNG imports reached almost 6 million tonnes, representing an increase of 30% year on year. -
