Egypt: SDX Energy announces successful production test at SD-3X well, South Disouq, Egypt
SDX Energy, the North Africa focused oil and gas company, has announced that a successful production test has been conducted at its SD-3X appraisal well at South Disouq, Egypt. The Company is targeting a late Q4 2018 start-up of production in South Disouq.

Congo (Brazzaville): Anglo African Oil & Gas spuds TLP-103 well on the Tilapia oil field
Anglo African Oil & Gas has confirmed that the TLP-103 well on the Tilapia oil field spudded on 15 August 2018. AAOG holds a 56% working interest in the producing Tilapia field, which is located in the prolific Lower Congo Basin in the Republic of the Congo.

Iraq: DNO presses foot on accelerator in Kurdistan
DNO has announced plans for its first dividend distribution to shareholders in 13 years following release of strong half-year 2018 results. The Company continues to ramp up activity in Kurdistan with fast track development of the Peshkabir field and will have two rigs active at the flagship Tawke field to reverse natural field decline. DNO is also planning to spud its first well on the Baeshiqa licence in September.

Israel: Energean Oil & Gas announces independent certification of reserves and resources in Israel
Energean Oil and Gas has received an updated independent CPR from Netherland Sewell & Associates for its Israeli portfolio. The updated CPR includes the certification of 63 bcm (2.2 Tcf) of 2P reserves and 7.5 Tcf of gross prospective resources and is the first assessment of prospective resources in the new Blocks (12, 21, 22, 23 and 31) that were awarded as part of the recent offshore licensing round.

Nigeria: Eland Oil & Gas provides Opuama operations update
Eland Oil & Gas has announced that its joint-venture subsidiary, Elcrest Exploration and Production Nigeria, has successfully completed the Opuama-10 well and will be handing over to the Opuama field production team imminently. Initial production from Opuama-10 is expected to be in line with previous guidance, at between 4,000 and 6,000 bopd.

Namibia: Tullow to drill Cormorant-1 offshore Namibia in September
JV partner Pancontinental Oil & Gas has announced that the Tullow-operated PEL 37 Joint Venture will drill the highly anticipated Cormorant-1 well, offshore Namibia, in September 2018. The Cormorant Prospect has potential for 124 million barrels of recoverable oil.
