Brazil: Petrobras clarifies on natural gas discovery in the Sergipe Basin
Petrobras, regarding the news published in the media related to the discovery of natural gas in the Sergipe Basin, clarifies that, in recent years, six deepwater discoveries have been confirmed in the Sergipe Basin. The Company is conducting the Discovery Assessment Plan for these areas to evaluate the productive potential of its oil and natural gas accumulations, and a long-term test in the Farfan area is planned for this year.

Norway: Aker BP granted drilling permit for well 25/2-20 in PL 442
The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has granted Aker BP a drilling permit for wildcat well 25/2-20 in production licence PL 442. The well will be drilled about 20 kms east of the Frigg field.

UK: Decipher Energy's Orlando field production lower than expected
Atlantic Petroleum has announced initial field production results from the Orlando field, its interest in which was sold to Decipher Energy in April 2017 in return for deferred considerations from the sale proceeds of production from the field. Production from the Orlando field began at a lower rate than expected, with production over the first two months averaging approx. 4,500 BOPD, which is below the Licence Operator's target of 10,500 BOPD.

Norway: Equinor drills dry well near the 7435/12-1 (Korpfjell) gas discovery in the Barents Sea - 7335/3-1
Equinor, operator of production licence PL 859, has completed the drilling of wildcat well 7335/3-1. The well, which was drilled about 8 kms southeast of the 7435/12-1 (Korpfjell) gas discovery in the Barents Sea, is being plugged and abandoned as a dry hole.

Amerisur Resources reports that logging operations on the Sol-1 exploration well on Block CPO5 are now complete. The well has encountered potential net oil pay and short term testing operations are now underway.

Norway: Equinor announces oil and gas discovery in the Norwegian Sea
Equinor and its partners Ineos E&P and Faroe Petroleum have made an oil and gas discovery in exploration well 6507/3-13 Snadd Outer Outer/Black Vulture in PL 159B in the Norwegian Sea. The well had two different reservoir targets; an upper drilling target containing 2-12 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) of gas and a lower target with an estimated volume of 1-48 million barrels of recoverable oil equivalent.

Colombia: Amerisur Resources announces proposed disposal of 50 percent of Put-8 to Occidental
Amerisur Resources has entered into a conditional agreement with Occidental Andina to dispose of a 50 percent interest in the Put-8 exploration licence in the Putumayo region of Colombia, for a cash consideration of USD 19.1 million.

UK: Greenpeace activists try to board oil rig at sea
Greenpeace activists have made another attempt to board a drilling rig being towed in the North Sea. The rig was heading for an oil field east of Aberdeen after protesters delayed its departure from the Cromarty Firth for six days last week.

Norway: Aker BP announces removal of Valhall QP topside as part of modernisation
Aker BP reports that the original accommodation platform at Valhall (QP) in the southern part of the North Sea has been safely removed by the giant vessel Pioneering Spirit. This was the first of the original structures at Valhall to be removed as part of the modernization of the Valhall field centre.
