Gabon: VAALCO Energy confirms oil discovery with Etame 9P appraisal well
VAALCO Energy has announced that the Etame 9P appraisal well, targeting the subcropping Dentale reservoir beneath the VAALCO-operated Etame field offshore Gabon, was successfully drilled to a total depth of 10,260 feet and encountered both Gamba and Dentale oil sands.

Woodside announces third quarter report for period ended 30 September 2019
Woodside has announced its Q3 report for the period ended 30 September 2019. The Company reports record quarterly production at Pluto LNG, first oil produced from the Greater Enfield Project, and the execution of major integrated turnarounds at the North West Shelf Project. Production was 24.9 MMboe, up 44 percent from the previous quarter.

Cairn has completed drilling of wildcat well 03/17a-3, known as Chimera. The objective of the well was to prove hydrocarbons in Paleocene Heimdal Sandstones within the Lista Formation. The well, which was drilled approx. 40 kms north of the Kraken field, is dry.

Norway's preliminary production figures for September 2019 show an average daily production of 1,574.000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 86,000 barrels per day compared to August.

Norway: PGNiG makes small oil and gas discovery southeast of the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea - 6507/5-9 S and 6507/5-9 A
PGNiG Upstream Norway, operator of PL 838, has concluded the drilling of wildcat well 6507/5-9 S and appraisal well 6507/5-9 A. The wells were drilled about 5 kms south of the Skarv facility in the Norwegian Sea. Both wells encountered oil and gas in the Middle and Lower Jurassic.
