The Norwegian Offshore Directorate has granted Aker BP a drilling permit for well 25/1-14 in production licence PL 873. The well will be drilled by the Deepsea Stavanger semisub. Planned spud date is April 2025.

India: Cairn Oil & Gas partners with EMGS to execute 3D CSEM survey for Deepwater Exploration in the KG Basin in India
Cairn Oil & Gas, part of Vedanta and India’s largest private oil and gas exploration and production company, has partnered with Norwegian company, Electromagnetic Geoservices (EMGS), to acquire a 3D Controlled Source Electro-magnetic (CSEM) survey for its exploration campaign in the deepwater Krishna-Godavari block in the East coast.

US: APA Corp annou successful flow test in Alaska’s North Slope at Sockeye-2 exploration well
APA Corp and its partners Lagniappe Alaska, an Armstrong company, and Oil Search (Alaska), a subsidiary of Santos, have announced the results of the successful flow testing of the Sockeye-2 exploratory well, located on state lands of the eastern North Slope.
