Mart Resources, as part of a consortium, has entered into an assignment agreement with Shell, Total and AGIP to acquire a 45% participating interest in Nigerian Oil Mining Lease 18 (OML 18) and all associated assets, wells, pipelines and infrastructure.

JKX Oil & Gas reports that the testing of well E-303 on the Elizavetovskoye field in Ukraine indicates a gross pay of 167 metres spread over eight reservoir horizons. The well was drilled to test deep sandstone reservoirs of the Elizavetovskoye field.
21 Oct 14 Norway: Statoil proves new oil resources in the Grane area in the North Sea
Operator Statoil has together with PL169 partners proved new oil resources in the D-structure in the vicinity of the Grane field in the North Sea. Well 25/8-18 S proved an oil column of 25 meters in the Heimdal Formation. The estimated volume of the discovery is in the range of 30-80 million barrels of recoverable oil.
