20 Apr 26	Norway: JAPEX acquires licence to strengthen E&P operations in Norway Japan Petroleum Exploration (JAPEX) has announced that its consolidated overseas subsidiary, JAPEX Norge ('J Norge'), has entered into an agreement to acquire a 20% participating interest in Production License PL1119 from OKEA, a leading Norwegian oil and gas company. The license includes the Mistral South gas field, a discovered but currently undeveloped field, as well as the Mistral North exploration prospect, both located in Norway.

20 Apr 26	Odfjell Drilling reports equipment handling incident on Deepsea Atlantic Odfjell Drilling notes that on 18 April 2026, during running of the Blowout Preventer ('BOP'), an incident occurred causing the BOP to drop to the seabed at an approximate depth of 1,100 metres. No personnel were injured during the incident and the rig is secure.

The HOCH-1 shallow gas exploration well is located in the ADX-AT-I exploration licence in Upper Austria. The well will target highly productive shallow gas reservoirs within Miocene aged sandstones of the Hall formation. The HOCH prospect has a Mean Prospective Resource potential of 8.0 BCF and a High Case Prospective Resource of 17.3 BCF.

20 Apr 26	Spain: GE Vernova to supply workhorse wind turbines for Santa Maria de las Fuentes wind farm in Spain GE Vernova has signed an agreement to provide 15 of its 6.1 MW-158m* workhorse wind turbines to power the Santa Maria de las Fuentes wind farm in Spain, developed by Renovalia. The deal, which was booked in the fourth quarter of 2025, further strengthens GE Vernova’s commitment to supporting Spain’s transition to renewable energy.
20 Apr 26	Indonesia: Eni’s major Geliga as discovery confirms the strategic potential of Indonesia’s Kutei Basin and unlocks significant new volumes Eni has announced a new giant gas discovery made by the Geliga-1 exploration well, drilled in the Ganal block in the Kutei Basin, offshore Indonesia. Preliminary estimates indicate in-place resources of approximately 5 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of gas and 300 million barrels of condensate in the encountered interval.

Production from the Saltfleetby Field in Q1 2026 was 471 million standard cubic feet of natural gas and 10,180 barrels of gas condensate. Production uplift was driven by successful completion of Saltfleetby workovers.

Once operational, the solar farm will generate enough clean energy to power approximately 7,800 homes per year and avoid more than 4,300 tonnes of CO2 annually.
