Lundin Petroleum has announced that drilling of appraisal well 16/4- 8 S in the Luno II discovery has been successfully completed. A gross oil column of 30 metres has been proven, underlying a thin gas cap. One production test (DST) was performed in the oil zone, producing at a rate of 450 barrels per day.
