Archer Limited reports record quarter and EBITDA margin expansion
Archer Limited reports record quarterly EBITDA of $44.9 million and a strong EBITDA margin of 17.1% for the second quarter of 2026, demonstrating continued earnings growth and margin expansion. EBITDA increased by 14% year over year, adjusted for the divested workover business in southern Argentina. US: Interior advances American Energy Dominance with Third Gulf of America Lease Sale
The Department of the Interior has announced that the Marine Minerals Administration’s Lease Sale Big Beautiful Gulf 3, or BBG3, generated $82,689,756 in high bids for 59 blocks in federal waters of the Gulf of America. Sixteen companies submitted 69 bids totaling $99,476,285.

DNO reports record revenue as it chases new growth
DNO, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, has reported record second quarter revenue of USD 761 million, up 21 percent quarter-on-quarter, as strong North Sea production sold at high commodity prices more than offset the impact of the production shutdown in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Operating profit increased 55 percent quarter-on-quarter to USD 439 million, while net profit rose 65 percent to USD 83 million.

Ireland: Wind energy planning approvals at highest level since early 2025
Five new wind energy projects were approved in the second quarter of this year, marking the highest level of approvals since Q1 2025, while one project was refused planning permission. The projects will add a combined generation capacity of 311 MW, enough to power just over 180,000 homes each year.

UK: North-east households in line for £2,500 energy bill discount for hosting pylons
Thousands of households living close to major electricity grid projects in the North-east could receive £2,500 off their energy bills under a new UK Government scheme. First Minister John Swinney has urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to reconsider the UK Government’s decision to block a £1.5billion wind turbine factory in the Highlands. Chinese manufacturer Ming Yang had proposed building what would be the UK’s largest wind turbine manufacturing facility at Ardersier, near Inverness, creating up to 1,500 direct jobs and potentially 8,000 more across the supply chain.

In the second quarter of 2026, Vestas generated revenue of EUR 4,723m – an increase of 26.1 percent compared to the second quarter of 2025. Italy: Zenith surpasses 200 MWp solar development target ahead of schedule and increases 2026 target to 240 MWp
Zenith Energy has announced the acquisition of a 10 MWp photovoltaic development project located in the Province of Foggia, in the Puglia region of Italy. The acquisition increases Zenith's total solar development pipeline to approx. 203 MWp. Following the achievement of this milestone ahead of schedule, the Company has increased its solar development acquisition target for the end of 2026 to 240 MWp.

Borr Drilling announces Q2 2026 results
Borr Drilling has announced unaudited results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2026. Second Quarter total operating revenues of $232.3 million, a decrease of $14.7 million or 6% compared to the first quarter of 2026. Second Quarter net loss of $241.4 million compared to net loss of $29.0 million in the first quarter of 2026, primarily driven by a $176.3 million debt extinguishment charge related to the refinancing of senior secured notes due 2028 and 2030 and convertible bonds due 2028.
