13 Oct 26	Gabon: BW Energy strengthens financing with long-term Bourdon WHP lease and RCF extension BW Energy has entered into a USD 208 million project-level lease financing for the Akoum wellhead platform (WHP) to be installed on the Bourdon field offshore Gabon and has signed an 18-month extension to the USD 250 million corporate revolving credit facility (RCF). The agreements further strengthen the financing platform as BW Energy executes its long-term growth strategy.

The covers around 9 TWh of natural gas per year, or approximately 0.9 billion cubic metres, to the Dutch gas grid with deliveries started on 1 October 2026.

The Wolin East oil discovery is estimated to contain mean recoverable oil, sales gas and natural gas liquids totalling 200 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe).

Under the agreement, Ørsted will acquire the remaining 49.9 % ownership interest from its investment partners for a total consideration of approximately GBP?15 million.
