Part of a major international energy group with exploration and producing interests in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, this well-established UK e & p subsidiary focussed on the UK North Sea manages a mix of both operated and non operated assets and has participated in all licence rounds in the UKCS over the last 5-6 years. With a varied portfolio of exploration projects, the company also actively reviews new venture and acquisition opportunities.
To support the growing commercial needs of the business, they now wish to recruit a Commercial Advisor.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will enjoy a diverse, responsible role helping to manage all ongoing commercial needs of the company's operated and non-operated exploration, development and production activities.
More specifically, you will get involved in the following:
- negotiating new contractual arrangements as well as reviewing and amending existing contracts where appropriate
- providing the necessary commercial support for acquisition and divestment activity
- liaising with, coordinating legal, geoscience and engineering teams
Experience: Degree educated, you will have c. 5 years' relevant upstream oil & gas experience and have participated in or supported commercial negotiation activities related to, in particular, new field developments.
In addition, you will have been involved in helping manage transportation, sales and purchase agreements.
