Key Responsibilities include:
•Lead the Development Geology function within the Company. This will involve working with other members of the Company’s head office technical team in addition to liaising with the technical staff within the Company’s operational subsidiaries in Russia.
•Provide geological input for the Company’s Field Development Plans.
•Build and maintain 3D geological models for the Company’s main producing fields.
•Interpret well log and core data.
•Provide geological input during the Company’s annual reserves audit.
•Work closely with other members of the Company’s technical team to optimize the forward development of the Company’s assets.

Qualifications⁄ Experience: The following skills, qualifications and experience are required:
•Minimum BSc in Geology or a similar discipline preferably with an applicable post graduate qualification.
•Minimum of 10 years relevant oil company experience.
•Experience of working on development geology aspects of carbonate and clastic fields.
•Knowledge of Petrel geological modelling software would be an advantage.
•Knowledge of the geology of the FSU and ability of the Russian language would be an advantage not a requisite.
•Willing to regularly travel to FSU & Russia
•Ability to communicate at all levels within the Company.
