Well-established as an operator both in the UK as well as in a number of diverse international locations, they plan to expand through a combination of organic production growth, high impact exploration and new acquisitions.
The North Sea is a core area and, to ensure that they meet their ambitious future plans, they now wish to recruit a senior reservoir engineer into their expanding Aberdeen office.
As Lead Reservoir Engineer you will be responsible for the reservoir management of all the Company's production and development assets in the UK North Sea. You will be responsible for maximising the value of both operated and non-operated assets at all stages of the project life-cycle.
Fulfilling a key role within a close-knit multi-disciplinary sub-surface team, you will enjoy wide-ranging exposure working with colleagues at all levels internally as well as liaising with and influencing co-venturers and regulatory authorities externally.
Experience : A graduate in a scientific or engineering discipline, you will have acquired not less than 10 years' relevant industry experience, the majority of which will, preferably, have been spent with an operating oil & gas company.
Technical expertise in classical reservoir engineering skills, in the use of Eclipse and other welltest analysis software, will be complemented by a demonstrable track record of successful reservoir management recommendations, meaningful input into field development planning and strong commercial awareness.
