It's Exploration and Production division has enjoyed tremendous growth in recent years, has a substantial portfolio of assets - the majority being operated - and is building a significant presence in the the UKCS.
The team providing the critical commercial support required for their UK business is located in London and fulfils a wide-ranging brief as follows:
• natural gas and product sales
• new business activities
• the defining, drafting, negotiation and management of contracts
• the provision of commercial support to assets
• economic analysis in support of exploration and development decision making
• strategic business planning, including competitor and market analysis
As Business Analyst/Economist, you will benefit from involvement in a wide-range of challenging tasks and projects: you will interact on a daily basis with colleagues in operations, finance and sub-surface.
Working as part of a close-knit team, your specific duties and responsibilities will include:
• providing fundamental economic analysis in support of business decision making,
• providing economic support for the annual business planning and reserves evaluation exercises,
• supporting new business activities – appraising the economic viability of acquisitions and disposals,
• undertaking market studies, analysing competitor activities
