Our client is an evolving E&P Operator with a growing array of assets. To prepare the organisation for further strategic acquisitions, there is now a need to restructure the business and consequently the exceptionally high profile role of Joint Venture Manager has been created. This is a crucial organisational appointment where the incumbent will strongly influence the future success of the company overseeing key assets in significant growth and developmental phases. A wide ranging brief, aspects of the role include:-
• Develop opportunity inventories addressing issues such as well ranking, satellite ranking, 3rd-party tariffs, facility upgrades and facility longevity. Additionally, you will obtain internal sanction of Asset Life Plans that clarify the company's priorities for the assets.
• Represent the company at OCMs and other commercial, technical, project, facilities or ad-hoc JV meetings.
• Monitor production and cost performance relative to forecast, confirm execution of agreed work programmes within budget and schedule, and identify areas of concern and improvement.
• Work with the Technical Team and Commercial Analysts to optimise reserves estimates, production forecasts and economic evaluations of the assets.
• Influence the Operator and other Partners into alignment with our client's priorities, using understanding of the assets and the anticipated viewpoints of the Operator and other Partners.
• Identify new asset business opportunities or threats and initiate in-house work accordingly.

Preferably educated to degree level with a track record in either Petroleum Engineering (or other technical disciplines) or commercial, you will offer direct experience within an operated producing asset or supporting outside operated production activities together with hands-on experience of operated development and production activity. A broad-based knowledge of the technical aspects of subsurface and facilities/project work, as well as exploitation activity, is sought together with knowledge of commercial models, economic investment criteria and evaluation tools.
