Norway: MOL Norge given consent for exploration drilling in Block 25/8 in the North Sea

Norway's Petroleum Safety Authority has given MOL Norge consent to drill exploration well 25/8-19 S in production licence PL 820 in the central North Sea, west of Haugesund. The well will be drilled to test a prospect named 'Evra/Iving'.
The geographical coordinates are: 59° 20' 13.206" N 02° 21' 53.275" E. Water depth at the site is 125 metres.
Drilling is scheduled to begin on 25 September 2019, and is expected to last 44 days.
Well 25/8-19 S is to be drilled using the Deepsea Bergen mobile drilling facility. Deepsea Bergen is a semi-submersible mobile drilling facility of the Aker H-3.2 type, built at Aker Verdal in 1983. It is owned and operated by Odfjell Drilling. The facility is classified by DNV GL and is registered in Norway. Deepsea Bergen received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) from the PSA in December 2001.
