30 Apr 24VAALCO Energy announces closing of accretive all cash Svenska acquisition
VAALCO Energy has closed the acquisition of Svenska Petroleum Exploration, an exploration and production company based in Stockholm, Sweden. As previously disclosed, Svenska’s primary asset is a 27.39% non-operated working interest in the deepwater producing Baobab field in Block CI-40, offshore Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa. Net purchase price of $40.2 million was fully funded by cash on hand with no issuance of debt or equity. -

AGR has been awarded a contract by geothermal energy supplier Innargi to provide technical consultancy for three geothermal appraisal wells that are being drilled in Aarhus, Denmark. Innargi is owned by A.P. Moller Holding, ATP, NRGi, and Sampension. The company aims to bring clean, reliable district heating to Europe through the renewable resource in subsurface– geothermal energy. -
