Riley Smith has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director. With over 15 years of experience leading teams within the energy sector, Riley brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success. In his new role, Riley will oversee the strategic growth of OPC and the delivery of OPC projects globally, ensuring that OPC continues to maintain high-quality services to its clients.
Ryan Moore has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer & Managing Director. Having spent the last 14 years with OPC, Ryan will continue to lead the company’s commercial operations while also overseeing the consultant services division. His expertise in financial management and operational leadership will be critical in driving OPC’s continued growth and success.
Piers Johnson, who founded OPC and led the company for over 35 years will assume new roles of Chairman of the Board and Technical Advisor, continuing to provide his invaluable expertise and guidance to the company.
In his new position, Piers will focus on strengthening OPC’s technical capabilities and supporting the leadership team in achieving the company’s strategic objectives. His extensive experience and industry knowledge will remain a cornerstone of OPC’s success.
Piers Johnson commented on the transition, saying, 'I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at OPC over the past 35 years. As I move into my new role, I am confident that Riley and Ryan, with their exceptional skills and experience, will lead OPC to new heights.
