Australia: RWE’s Theodore Wind Farm awarded Capacity Investment Scheme contract
The Australian government has announced the results of the Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS) Tender 7 for renewables. RWE secured a CIS contract for its 1.1-gigawatt (GW) Theodore onshore wind project, located in Central Queensland. The CIS underwrites the project with a set revenue floor and ceiling. The total investment volume to realise Theodore onshore wind farm amounts to AU$3 billion.

Australia: Beach unlocks value through Otway optimisation
Beach Energy has entered into an agreement to sell its 60% operated interest in VIC/L35, including the Artisan gas discovery, to Amplitude Energy (50%) and O.G. Otway (10%). The Transaction delivers cash proceeds at completion, retains economic exposure to future production through a royalty, and improves capital allocation flexibility across Beach’s growth portfolio.

Condor has achieved another corporate milestone by reaching 15,283 boe/d average daily production over the past 72 hours due to the recently drilled Kumli-47 horizontal well ('K-47') starting production.

Cote d'Ivoire: Eni and partners approve investment for Baleine Phase 3 in Côte d’Ivoire
Eni and its partners Petroci and Vitol have approved the final investment decision (FID) for the Baleine Phase 3 project, marking a significant milestone in the development of the largest hydrocarbon discovery ever made in the country. The full-field Phase 3 development will increase oil production from 60,000 to 150,000 barrels per day and gas output from 80 to 200 million cubic feet per day.
