The dam gate will be the largest steel component ever produced with near-zero fossil carbon dioxide emissions in the iron production. It will be installed in Vattenfall's hydropower station in Stornorrfors, Sweden, in 2028.

On average, the platform's production exceeds 250,000 bpd throughout the month of October, representing a volume above its nominal capacity of 225,000 bpd.

The initial proposed budget is £900m for conventional bottom-fixed offshore wind and £180m for floating wind. This would 'buy' only 5 – 6 GW of capacity in the auction. The UK currently has 16.6 GW in offshore wind and wants 50 GW by 2030.
