11 Mar 26	US: Interior holds Second Lease Sale in the Gulf of America under One Big Beautiful Bill Act advancing American Energy dominance The Department of the Interior has announced the Bureau of Ocean Energy Lease Sale Big Beautiful Gulf 2, or BBG2, generated $46,976,423 in high bids. The sale, the second non-discretionary offshore oil and gas lease sale required under President Trump’s 'One Big Beautiful Bill Act' in the Gulf of America, included 25 blocks covering approximately 141,000 acres in federal waters of the Gulf of America. Thirteen companies submitted 38 bids totaling $69,838,782.

The Lapa South-West project, including three wells connected to the existing Lapa floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) unit, will increase production from the Lapa field by 25,000 barrels per day.

10 Mar 26	Poland: RWE sold its Polish offshore wind development project to PGE RWE and PGE have successfully closed the transaction they announced in December. As agreed, PGE has become the sole owner of the F.E.W. Baltic II offshore wind development project in the Polish Baltic Sea. The wind farm has a planned capacity of 350 megawatts and will be located approx. 50 kms from shore, north of the Polish town of Ustka.

10 Mar 26	France: Plenitude and Methagora sign a 15-year partnership for the sourcing of biomethane in France Plenitude and Methagora, a biomethane solutions developer and gas supplier, have signed an agreement covering the sourcing in France of 50 GWh of biomethane per year over a 15-year period, in line with the French legislation concerning the Biomethane Production Certificates (BPC) scheme. Under the agreement, Methagora will sell Plenitude biomethane sourced from a range of agricultural areas in France.
