The Carlyle Group completes acquisition of shareholding in Cepsa from Mubadala
Funds affiliated with The Carlyle Group have acquired a 37 percent shareholding in Cepsa from Mubadala. Mubadala will remain the majority shareholder in Cepsa, holding the remaining 63 percent.

UK: Offshore Wind Leasing Round 4 officially opens
The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) for Offshore Wind Leasing Round 4 – the UK’s first major new leasing round in a decade – has been formally issued by The Crown Estate. Offshore Wind Leasing Round 4 will offer seabed rights for at least 7GW of new offshore wind projects in the waters around England and Wales.

OKEA has announced the start of the Draugen drilling campaign for the appraisal wells 6407/9-11 and 6407/9-12. The Company will live stream the drilling log from the drilling operations on the Odfjell rig Deepsea Nordkapp.

Norway's production decreases in August 2019
Norway's preliminary production figures for September 2019 show an average daily production of 1,574.000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 86,000 barrels per day compared to August.

Norway: PGNiG makes small oil and gas discovery southeast of the Skarv field in the Norwegian Sea - 6507/5-9 S and 6507/5-9 A
PGNiG Upstream Norway, operator of PL 838, has concluded the drilling of wildcat well 6507/5-9 S and appraisal well 6507/5-9 A. The wells were drilled about 5 kms south of the Skarv facility in the Norwegian Sea. Both wells encountered oil and gas in the Middle and Lower Jurassic.

Norway: Repsol drills dry well near the Yme field in the North Sea - 9/2-12
Repsol Norge, operator of production licence PL 910, is in the process of concluding the drilling of wildcat well 9/2-12, drilled about 6 kms northeast of the Yme field centre in the North Sea. The well is being plugged and abandoned as a dry hole.
