The MoU provides a framework for technical collaboration, including a joint assessment of exploration opportunities in the Black Sea region of Türkiye as well as internationally.
13 Apr 26	Brazil: Petrobras announces new discovery of hydrocarbons in deep waters in the pre-salt layer of the Campos Basin Petrobras has identified the presence of hydrocarbons in the pre-salt layer of the Campos Basin , in an exploratory well drilled in Sector SC-AP4 of the Campos Basin, block CM-477 . The well 1-BRSA-1404DC-RJS is located 201 km off the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro , at a water depth of 2,984 meters.

13 Apr 26	UK: Great British Energy - Nuclear and Rolls-Royce SMR sign contract to deliver the UK’s first SMRs Great British Energy - Nuclear (GBE-N) has signed a contract with Rolls-Royce SMR, formally commencing technology design activities that will enable the delivery of the UK’s first Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) as part of the Government’s clean energy mission. Rolls-Royce SMR was selected as the preferred technology partner in June 2025, and £2.6 billion was allocated in the 2025 Spending Review to enable this contract and wider programme delivery.

12 Apr 26	Gasunie and Fluxys sign deal to interconnect Dutch and Belgian hydrogen infrastructure Dutch Gasunie subsidiary Hynetwork and its Belgian counterpart Fluxys hydrogen have signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for a cross-border hydrogen connection between the Netherlands and Belgium. Where possible, this connection will be developed using existing natural gas pipelines that have been repurposed for hydrogen transmission. The two companies aim to complete this connection by around 2030.
12 Apr 26	Norway: Worley Rosenberg’s RjukanLH2 FEED award for Nordic region’s first liquid hydrogen production facility Worley Rosenberg has been awarded the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) contract, with an exclusive option for Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), for Norwegian Hydrogen’s 25 MW RjukanLH2 project. The project will establish the Nordic region’s first production facility for liquid hydrogen, with a capacity of 10 tonnes per day located in Rjukan, Norway.
12 Apr 26	Brazil: Petrobras signs contracts with Petronas to regain 100% stake in the Tartaruga Verde field and in Module III of the Espadarte field Petrobras has signed contracts with Petronas Petróleo Brasil Ltda for the acquisition of 50% stakes in the Tartaruga Verde and Espadarte – Module III fields, located in the Campos Basin. After the completion of the transaction, Petrobras will once again hold 100% ownership of the assets, remaining as operator.
