OMV Petrom has completed the transaction for the acquisition of 100% of the shares in OMV Offshore Bulgaria from OMV Exploration & Production and enters the Han-Asparuh exploration block, offshore Bulgaria. Following Repsol’s exit, the Bulgarian regulator approved the allocation of Repsol’s 30% participating interest to the remaining two partners.

JV partner Woodside reports that Shell's Khan Kubrat-1 exploration well in the 1-14 Khan Kubrat block in the Black Sea has been plugged and abandoned after encountering non-commercial hydrocarbon shows in target reservoirs.
