Trinidad: Columbus Energy provides update on Saffron well - South West Peninsula, Trinidad
Columbus Energy has provided an update on the progress of the Saffron well, currently being drilling in the South West Peninsula, Trinidad. Hydrocarbon bearing zones have been encountered in the tertiary and secondary targets and the well is currently drilling ahead to the prognosed Lower Cruse primary target.

Trinidad: Aker Solutions wins BP Cypre front-end study
Aker Solutions has secured a contract to support the development of BP’s Cypre project, offshore Trinidad and Tobago. The contract will see Aker Solutions deliver front-end engineering and design (FEED) for the first platform in a potential series of future assets within BP’s Trinidad and Tobago portfolio.

Trinidad: Touchstone announces Coho-1 gas test of 17.5 mmcfd
Touchstone Exploration has announced that the Coho-1 well on the Ortoire exploration block, onshore Trinidad and Tobago, tested at an average natural gas rate of 17.5 MMCFD. The Company will proceed to tie in the well through a 3-km pipeline to an existing production facility and anticipates bringing the well on production during the first half of 2020.

Trinidad: BP Trinidad & Tobago makes gas discovery at Ginger well offshore Trinidad
BP Trinidad & Tobago (BPTT) has made a gas discovery with the Ginger exploration well, offshore Trinidad. The well was drilled into two untested fault blocks east of the Cashima field approx. 50 miles off the south-east coast of Trinidad and penetrated hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs in fifteen segments.

Trinidad: Maersk Drilling awarded two-well contract for Maersk Developer offshore Trinidad
Maersk Drilling has entered into a contract with BG International, a subsidiary of Shell, for work offshore Trinidad and Tobago on a two-well development project for the semi-submersible rig Maersk Developer.
