||Lithuania: Tethys Oil announces successful exploration well onshore Lithuania
Tethys Oil reports that the drilling of the Tidikas-1 exploration well on the Raseiniai licence onshore Lithuania has been successfully completed. The well encountered a combined oil column of almost 50 metres in two different limestone formations and flowed oil to surface during drill stem tests.

Natural gas supply and trading company LITGAS, part of Lithuania’s state owned energy holding Lietuvos Energija, and Statoil signed a MoU on Thursday regarding establishment of a joint venture company in Lithuania to develop small scale LNG bunkering services.

||Lithuania: Tethys Oil commences Lithuanian drilling programme
Tethys Oil has commenced a three well drilling programme on the Raseiniai licence, onshore Lithuania. The wells are targeting Silurian reefs mapped by an 80 sq km 3D seismic study completed in 2014 and proven by the Lapgiriai-1 exploration well, drilled in 2013, which encountered oil.
