Finland: Nordex Group receives orders from OX2 in Finland for N175/6.X turbines totalling 472 MW The Swedish renewable energy company OX2 has placed two orders with the Nordex Group for the supply of in total 70 N175/6.X wind turbines in Finland. The wind turbines, with a total capacity of approx. 472 MW are intended for two projects: Honkakangas in Central Ostrobothnia, comprising 16 units and Rajamäenkylä in South Ostrobothnia, comprising 54 units. |

Finland: Nordex Group installs first turbines on self-developed 168-metre hybrid towers Nordex Group is currently installing the first N163/5.X turbines at the Karahka wind farm in Finland’s North Ostrobothnia region, commissioned by a consortium consisting of Finnish energy supplier Helen Ltd and the Ålandsbanken Wind Power Fund. The unique feature of this wind farm is that it employs the first Nordex inhouse developed hybrid concrete and steel tower with a hub height of 168 metres. |

Finland/Estonia: Suspicion of a leak in the Balticconnector gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia Gasgrid Finland and the Estonian gas transmission system operator Elering noticed an unusual drop in pressure in the offshore gas pipeline between the two countries. Based on observations, it was suspected that the offshore pipeline between Finland and Estonia was leaking. The valves in the offshore pipeline are now closed and the leak is thus stopped. Gasgrid Finland is currently investigating the matter. |
