Fugro has secured a marine asset integrity contract with a client in Australia, strengthening its position as a trusted partner for subsea inspection, intervention and maintenance services in the offshore energy industry.
Fugro will replace critical subsea infrastructure to support the long-term reliability and performance of its client’s offshore assets. In addition to the replacement works, Fugro will provide subsea survey and inspection services using remote operations capabilities. The project brings together Fugro's integrated capabilities, combining engineering expertise, project management and offshore execution to deliver safe and efficient outcomes for the client.
Offshore operations will be executed from Fugro's multipurpose support vessel Fugro Etive, with project management, engineering and operational support services being delivered from Fugro’s regional operations teams.
The contract follows an initial phase of engineering and planning activities with detailed engineering to commence in the coming weeks. Offshore operations are expected to commence towards the end of 2027.
