
New Wave Offshore Energy has announced the award of a major Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) contract for Shell’s Orca Project in the pre-salt Santos Basin, offshore Brazil, fortifying the company’s reputation as a trusted MWS partner for complex offshore developments.
The marine warranty services contract encompasses risk management and safety oversight support for the project, estimated to have recoverable resource volumes of approximately 370 million barrels. New Wave Offshore’s scope of work involves marine warranty services across multiple phases of the project, including vessel surveys, engineering review, and oversight of transportation and installation (T&I) operations. New Wave Offshore will provide an impartial review of the operation to ensure the agreed project warranties are met while delivering value-added expertise.
