Petrobras, in continuation of the announcements released on 04/27/2022 and 01/26/2023, informs that it received today (01/31) from Petro Rio Jaguar Petróleo SA ('PRIO'), a subsidiary of PRIO SA, the amount of R$ 1.025 billion, referring to the contingent payment (earnout) of the price of a barrel of oil for the fiscal year 2024.
This receipt is in accordance with the terms of the contract negotiated between the companies, referring to the sale of Petrobras' entire stake to PRIO in the Albacora Leste field, located in deep waters in the Campos Basin.
This is the second and final contingent payment installment received for the sale of Albacora Leste. On January 31, 2024, Petrobras received the first installment in the amount of R$295 million, corresponding to the price of a barrel of oil for the 2023 fiscal year.
