- MOU-6 drilling operations to 950 metres successfully completed
- TGB-6 Fan gross upper interval approximately 21 metres thick
- More comprehensive suite of wireline logs acquired
- Single well test to evaluate interval and potentially calibrate wireline logs
- Regulatory approval to drill Snowcap-3 received

Predator Oil & Gas Holdings, the Jersey-based Oil and Gas Company with producing hydrocarbon operations and exploration activity focussed on Trinidad and Morocco, has provided an update on current drilling.
MOU-6 preliminary well results
The MOU-6 well reached its planned total depth of 950 metres within the previously announced guidance of 20 days.
The well encountered the top of the primary target, the TGB-6 Submarine Fan interval ('TGB-6 Fan'), 600 metres to the northwest of MOU-3.
The gross upper interval penetrated was 21.2 metres, compared to approximately 13.2 metres in MOU-3.
The increase in interval thickness is consistent with the pre-drill forecast based on 2D seismic inversion data and the depositional model for the TGB-6 Fan over an area encompassing the MOU-1 well, 6.5 kilometres to the southwest, and the MOU-3 well. 600 metres to the southeast.
Wireline logs, including spectral gamma ray and Formation Microresistivity ('FMI'), have been acquired.
MOU-6 well completion and testing
The well is currently being completed for perforating up to 150 psi under-balanced with the larger 4.5” TCP guns over the 21.2 metres of gross upper interval of the TGB-6 Fan. A single well test will be performed.
Well test operations are expected to commence shortly.
Forward plans
Following completion of the well testing and processing of all the newly acquired MOU-6 well data, results will be integrated with existing data to update the biogenic gas potential of the area evaluated by the MOU-1, MOU-3 and MOU-6 wells.
To assist with the evaluation a Confidentiality Agreement has been executed with a Romanian company, Geo Line Solution S.R.L., who have specific experience in the producing biogenic gas fields of Romania and western Ukraine. The objective is to potentially provide analogues with which to calibrate the section penetrated between 800 and 1100 metres in the MOU-1, MOU-3 and MOU-6 wells.
Snowcap-3 progress Trinidad
Regulatory approval to drill Snowcap-3 in the Cory Moruga Licence onshore Trinidad has been received.
A further update on progress and timing will be given after completion of Moroccan operations.
Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Predator Oil & Gas Holdings Plc commented:
'We are pleased to have successfully completed the drilling phase of MOU-6 based on the new well design and mud weight strategy. This has resulted in much improved well cutting samples and wireline logs compared to previous data.
The well confirmed pre-drill expectations of a thicker uppermost TGB-6 Fan interval compared to the MOU-3 and MOU-1 wells.
Better wellbore conditions and access to the larger perforating guns, combined with a more comprehensive suite of wireline logs will provide well test information essential to potentially calibrate the sections penetrated by MOU-1, MOU-3 and MOU-6.
We are pleased to have received the approval on schedule to drill the Snowcap-3 well in Trinidad. Operational focus will now shift to Trinidad.'
