Wood has announced the appointment of Dr David Cole FREng as Executive President of its Consulting business.
David joins Wood from Sizewell C, where he was Director of Energy Strategy, following senior leadership roles at EDF Nuclear Services and Atkins, where he led the UK, Europe and Middle East Net Zero Energy business. He brings more than 30 years of experience across defence, aerospace, petrochemicals and the energy sector.
David will lead Wood’s global Consulting business with a focus on strategic clarity, performance and longterm value creation for clients across energy and materials markets.
David Cole said:

David is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Mining and Metallurgy.
