Zion Oil & Gas has successfully completed drilling and casing the horizontal section of the MJ-02 well.
Following the Jewish High Holidays, the Company will commence the stimulation, testing, and completion phase of the well. The necessary stimulation equipment is loaded on a boat for shipping during this transition time, and a small crew will remain onsite at MJ-02 to monitor the well. This sequencing allows Zion to get everything in place and ready to launch the next key phase of operations while respecting Israel’s holidays and avoiding unnecessary standby costs.
