Enel, through its wholly owned subsidiary Enel Green Power Italia, has signed and finalized an agreement with WEB Ariano, a company owned by WEB Windenergie AG, for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Campo Eolico Ariano – CEA S.r.l. which owns and operates a wind farm located in the Campania region of Italy, with a total installed capacity of 84 MW and an average annual output of approx. 0.2 TWh. The consideration for the acquisition, corresponding to the enterprise value attributed to the facility, amounts to approx. 145 million euros.
The acquisition is expected to generate a positive net impact on the Enel Group’s consolidated ordinary EBITDA of approximately 16 million euros per year.
