WoodKSS LLP, Wood’s incorporated joint venture in Kazakhstan, has secured a new engineering and project support contract with Tengizchevroil LLP, one of the world’s largest onshore producing oil fields.
Building on more than 20 years of partnership with Tengizchevroil, the contract follows a master services agreement established in 2019. It includes an expanded scope of specialist project management services to support base operations and ongoing field development.
Gerry Traynor, Regional President for Middle East, Africa and Caspian at Wood, said, 'This award reflects a long-standing and trusted partnership with Tengizchevroil, built through consistent delivery and local execution over many years'.
The contract will be delivered by WoodKSS teams based in Atyrau, Almaty and Tengiz. The award reinforces Wood’s continued presence in Kazakhstan, where the company has supported energy operations for more than two decades.
