The Norwegian Offshore Directorate has granted Aker BP a drilling permit for the wells 7324/6-2 and 7324/8-4 in production license PL 1170.
Well 7324/8-4 geographical coordinates are: 73° 28' 4.52'' N 24° 33' 13.81'' E. Licensees are: Equinor 35%; Aker BP 35%; Petoro 20%; INPEX Idemitsu Norge 10%. Planned spud date is June 2024.
Well 7324/6-2 geographical coordinates are: 73° 31' 47.16'' N 24° 58' 7.8'' E. Licensees are: Equinor 35%; Aker BP 35%; Petoro 20%; INPEX Idemitsu Norge 10%. Planned spud date is May 2024.
Both wells will be drilled by the Scarabeo 8 semisub.
