The Shelf in 2025 is a summary of activity on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) over the past year: Exploration results, annual production figures and investment and production forecasts for the next five years.
The shelf has seen vigorous activity this year. Keywords include high investments, significant oil and gas production, exploration activity, and increasing interest in storing CO2 on the NCS. Future value creation for the Norwegian society will depend on continued investments in exploration and development on the shelf.
