The Qatar-Kazakh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QKCCI) and Kent have signed a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering industrial development and enhancing bilateral trade relations between Qatar and Kazakhstan.

This partnership reflects the shared commitment of QKCCI and Kent to promote economic growth, facilitate knowledge exchange, and build stronger ties between the two nations.

The MoU sets a framework for collaboration in industrial development, focusing on capacity building, resource exchange, and fostering mutual business growth in key sectors. As a leader in engineering and technical services, Kent will leverage its expertise to support Kazakhstani businesses in gaining greater access to the Qatari market and establishing impactful partnerships.

Commenting on the MoU, Country Director for Qatar at Kent, Shane Kelly, said, 'This partnership represents a unique opportunity to strengthen ties between Qatar and Kazakhstan while advancing industrial development in both countries. At Kent, we are committed to supporting businesses in achieving sustainable growth across borders.'

Aidos Koldassov, General Director of QKCCI, added, 'The MoU underscores the importance of collaboration in today’s global economy. By joining forces with Kent, we aim to create a platform for Kazakh and Qatari businesses to thrive and contribute to the broader economic relationship between our nations.'

Under the terms of the MoU, both parties will work together on joint initiatives to enhance industrial cooperation and promote knowledge-sharing. Funding for specific projects will be determined through supplementary agreements, ensuring flexibility and mutual benefit.

This MoU is valid for an initial period of two years, with an option for renewal upon mutual agreement. It is a testament to the growing relationship between Qatar and Kazakhstan, paving the way for increased trade, investment, and industrial collaboration.
