Wildcat Petroleum has provided an update on its plans in the Republic of Sudan.

The oil ministry has relocated to Port Sudan due to the on-going conflict in Sudan.
The Sudanese oil sector has not been affected to any great extent. The amount of oil South Sudan is pumping through the Sudanese pipeline to Port Sudan has actually doubled since the conflict began on the 15th April.
The Company is now fully engaged with the Ministry of Energy and Oil in order to get a deal signed, hopefully by the end of the year.
CLARIFICATION
There seems to be a little confusion over the location of the Bamboo field (Wildcat Field).
The company’s ultimate intention is to manage oil production in Blocks 1, 3, 4 & 5. A MOU was signed over these 4 Blocks last October.
The Bamboo Field is contained within the acreage encompassed by these 4 Blocks.
Once Wildcat has developed the Bamboo Field its intention is to develop other oil fields contained within the boundaries of these 4 Blocks.
