SOFEC has been awarded an EPC project for the supply of a replacement CALM Buoy and PLEM system in Thailand for an undisclosed client. The project owners operate some of the most advanced and complex refineries in the Asia-Pacific region.

The CALM Buoy will be moored in a water depth of 26 meters, designed to berth tankers up to 320,000 DWT and support the import of up to 60,000 barrels per hour of crude oil and condensate.
