Netherlands: Vattenfall signs landmark battery storage agreement
Vattenfall has secured 100MW (400 MWh) of storage capacity from the Dutch Leopard battery, currently under development by Giga Storage. Under the agreement, Vattenfall will have full operational control of this capacity, enabling the company to mitigate increased imbalance risks across its customer and renewable portfolio. -

Gambia: PetroNor E&P announces update on The Gambia A4 licence
PetroNor E&P has advised that it is withdrawing from the exploration licence for Block A4 in The Gambia. As outlined in the Q3 2025 results released on 20 November 2025, the initial exploration phase of the licence for Block A4 expired during mid-November 2025. -

TotalEnergies, TES, Osaka Gas, Toho Gas, and ITOCHU have signed a Joint Development and Operating Agreement, granting the Japanese companies a combined 33.3% stake in the Live Oak project — a large-scale facility to produce electric natural gas (e-NG) also known as e-methane, initiated by TotalEnergies and TES and currently under development in Nebraska, US. -
