Spain: Nordex Group lands 80 MW contract in Spain
Nordex Group received a new order in Spain for initially 80 MW. A customer has ordered 13 N175/6.X turbines for a wind farm in Spain. The order includes a Premium Service for a period of 20 years. The order also provides for the option to expand the wind farm by an additional 40 MW in the future. -

Netherlands: Van Oord announces industry first completion of silent monopile installations
Van Oord has successfully installed three monopile foundations using GBM Works' jetting solution in combination with CAPE’s vibro lifting tool for the first time at commercial scale, marking a major industry milestone in silent offshore installation. Designed to reduce underwater noise and minimise impact on marine life, the method was deployed at Ecowende's Hollandse Kust West wind farm using Van Oord's new offshore wind installation vessel Boreas. -

Brazil: Subsea7 awarded offshore contract for Sépia 2 in Brazil
Subsea7 has announced the award of a supermajor contract by Petrobras, following a competitive tender, for the development of the Sépia 2 field located approx. 280 kms southeast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at a water depth of 2,170 metres in the pre-salt Santos Basin. Sépia 2 is one of the largest pre-salt expansion phases, playing a central role in Brazil’s energy development. -

UK: EnQuest Heather fined for collective decommissioning failures
The North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) has fined North Sea licensee EnQuest Heather Limited a collective total of £16.5 million for failing to decommission 33 inactive wells. The cumulative fine is for protracted non-compliance on 33 wells under four separate licences on Alma, Galia, Broom, and Dons fields. The penalty for each breach is £500,000.
