Scatec has reached financial close for the 'Obelisk' hybrid solar and battery storage project in Egypt. The project will be constructed in two phases. The first phase of 561 MW solar + 100 MW/200 MWh battery storage is targeted to reach commercial operational date (COD) in the first half of 2026. The second phase of 564 MW solar in the second half of 2026. -

TotalEnergies has announced the acquisition of a 25% working interest in a portfolio of exploration leases Offshore U.S. from Chevron (operator). The 40 Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) federal leases, spanning approx. 1,000 km2 and located 175 to 330 km from shore, include 13 blocks located in the Walker Ridge area, 9 blocks in the Mississippi Canyon area and 18 blocks in the East Breaks area. -

The Company intends to initiate new or revisited discussions with potential funding parties that have expressed an interest in participating in the development of the Chuditch project and the export of gas for LNG. -
