India: Adani Power receives LoA for the 2,400 MW greenfield thermal power plant in Bihar
Adani Power, India's largest private sector thermal power generator, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for 25 Years long term procurement of electricity from Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd. (BSPGCL), which it will supply from a 2,400 MW (800 MW X 3) greenfield ultra super critical plant to be set up at Pirpainti in Bhagalpur district of Bihar. -

Sidara announces offer for Wood
Wood has agreed a £216m takeover by Dubai-based Sidara with an offer of 30-pence-per-share. Sidara will also assume $1.6 billion of Wood Group's debt and inject $450 million of cash into the company. -

UK: Morgan Generation Offshore Wind Farm granted consent
Consent has been granted for the Morgan Generation Offshore Wind Farm. Developed by JERA Nex bp and EnBW, Morgan Generation is the second project from the UK’s Round 4 leasing round to receive consent, and one of the fastest offshore wind farms in the UK to progress from lease award to approval. -
