Mexico: Harbour appointed operator of the Zama project in Mexico
Harbour Energy announced December 31 2025 it has been appointed operator of the Zama oil project offshore Mexico. The Zama oil field, discovered in 2017 and successfully appraised in 2018 and 2019, is estimated to contain approx. 750 mmboe of gross recoverable resources. -

bp agrees to sell a 65% shareholding in Castrol to Stonepeak at an enterprise value of $10 billion
Following a comprehensive strategic review of Castrol, bp announced Decembey 24 that it has reached an agreement to sell a 65% shareholding in Castrol to Stonepeak, at an enterprise value of $10.1 billion. The transaction is expected to result in total net proceeds to bp of approx. $6.0 billion.
