Suriname: PETRONAS expands deepwater portfolio in Suriname with Block 66 PSC
PETRONAS, through its wholly-owned subsidiary PETRONAS Suriname E&P B.V. ('PSEPBV'), has signed a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) for Block 66, located in the deepwater region offshore Suriname. Block 66 lies directly adjacent to Block 52 in the deepwater region offshore Suriname, where PETRONAS has recorded a series of exploration and appraisal successes. -

Paris Air Show: TotalEnergies signs a deal with Quatra to secure feedstock for its biorefineries
TotalEnergies and Quatra, the European market leader in the collection and recycling of used cooking oil, have signed a 15-year agreement beginning in 2026, for the supply of 60,000 tons a year of European used cooking oil to TotalEnergies’ biorefineries. This deal contributes to secure the feedstock to produce biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). -

Germany: TotalEnergies awarded an offshore wind concession in the North Sea
TotalEnergies, as a shareholder of North Sea OFW One GmbH, has been awarded the N-9.4 offshore concession by the Federal Network Agency. Located in the North Sea, approximately 150 kms northwest of the German island of Heligoland, the N-9.4 concession covers an area of around 141 sq kms and will enable the development of 1GW of offshore wind capacity. -

US: Chevron enters domestic lithium sector to support U.S. energy security
Chevron has announces the acquisition of two leasehold acreage positions. The first from TerraVolta Resources, whose investor is an affiliate of The Energy & Minerals Group (EMG), and the second from East Texas Natural Resources (ETNR) LLC. The estimated leasehold position includes ~125,000 net acres and is situated across regions where the Smackover Formation is present, specifically spanning Northeast Texas and Southwest Arkansas.
