Shell announces first quarter 2026 results
Shell has released its first quarter results and first quarter interim dividend announcement for 2026. Q1 2026 Adjusted Earnings of $6.9 billion reflect strong performance across the business. CFFO excluding working capital was $17.2 billion for the quarter. Working capital outflow of $11.2 billion in Q1 2026 reflects impact of unprecedented volatility in commodity prices. -

US: 88 Energy secures rig for Augusta-1 exploration well, South Prudhoe, North Slope Alaska
88 Energy has secured Nordic-Calista Services Rig-3 to drill the Augusta-1 exploration well, located within the Company's South Prudhoe acreage on Alaska's North Slope (100% working interest, 16.7% royalty). The Company is progressing a farmout-led funding strategy, supported by its existing cash position, to enable the drilling of the Augusta-1 well in Q1 CY2027 while retaining material exposure to exploration upside. -

North Sea performance lifts DNO profits
DNO, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, today reported strong first-quarter results driven by record North Sea production and sharply higher March oil and gas prices. Operating profit surged 60 percent quarter-on-quarter to USD 284 million on revenues of USD 627 million, up 30 percent. Net profit for the period totaled USD 51 million. -
