Norway: Equinor drills new oil and gas discovery near the Troll field
Equinor and partners have struck oil and gas in the Fram area, 9 kms north of the Troll field in the North Sea. In total, the resources are estimated at between 0.1 and 1.1 million standard cubic metres. The licensees will consider tying the discovery back to existing or future infrastructure. -

Norway: First CO2 volumes stored at Northern Lights
The first CO2 volumes have now been injected and successfully stored in the reservoir 2,600 meters under the seabed. The world’s first third party CO2 transport and storage facility is now in operation, contributing to reducing European greenhouse gas emissions. -

OKEA has announced oil discoveries in the Talisker exploration well at the Brage field (PL 055). The discoveries were made in the Cook and Statfjord formations and are considered commercial with preliminary estimates of gross recoverable resources in the range of 16 – 33 mmboe combined. -

Santos reports strong first-half results with Barossa and Pikka on track for start-up
Santos today announced strong half-year results for 2025, comparable with the prior year. Free cash flow from operations remained strong at US$1.1 billion. Sales revenue was US$2.6 billion, EBITDAX was US$1.8 billion and underlying profit was US$508 million. Production volumes were 44.1 mmboe, also comparable with the prior year, and sales volumes were 47.2 mmboe. -

Cue Energy announces 2025 Full Year Results and Final Dividend
Cue Energy Resources has released its Full Year 2025 (FY2025) results, reporting a 10% increase in revenue from ordinary activities to $54.8 million and EBITDAX(1) of $30.3 million, reflecting continued strong underlying performance. A final dividend of 0.5 cent per share has been declared, bringing the total dividend for FY2025 to 1.5 cents per share.
