Gulf of Mexico: TechnipFMC and bp sign MoU for supply of 20K Subsea Production Systems
TechnipFMC has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BP Exploration & Production Inc., a subsidiary of BP, which sets out a framework for bp and TechnipFMC to cooperate in connection with the supply of 20,000 psi (20K) subsea tree systems for bp’s Paleogene projects in the Gulf of America. -

Preliminary production figures for September 2026 show an average daily production of 1,900,000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate. Oil production in September is 0.7 percent more than the NOD’s forecast and 4.1 percent more than the forecast so far this year. -
