Saipem, in consortium with Jan De Nul, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with ExxonMobil Moçambique Limitada, on behalf of the Mozambique Rovuma Venture (MRV) representing the Area 4 partners (ENH, CNPC, ENI, KOGAS and XRG) for the Rovuma LNG Phase 1 development in Mozambique. -

Ireland: Solar energy generation increases nearly 60% over summer months as August sets new records
New provisional data from EirGrid, the operator and developer of Ireland’s electricity grid, shows that almost one third (29%) of electricity came from renewable sources in August. Solar power made up 7.7% of the month’s fuel mix and follows records being set for the contribution of solar power this summer with a high of 9.4% in July and 8.2% in June. -

Indonesia: Conrad completes Duyung farm down
Conrad Asia Energy, an Asia-focused natural gas exploration and development company, has completed the previously announced farm-down of 75% non-operated Participating Interest ('PI') in the Duyung PSC to PT Nations Natuna Barat ('Nations' or 'NNB'), which has triggered the payment of US$4 million from NNB, which is the second tranche of the cash consideration of US$16 million.
