US: Baker Hughes and Venture Global expand strategic long-term power generation partnership
Baker Hughes, an energy technology company, announced Thursday a new Power Frame Agreement with Venture Global and GE Vernova to support the development of behind-the-meter power generation in the United States. The framework is designed to support Venture Global’s continued LNG production and liquefaction, as well as potential future LNG-adjacent data center development projects. -

Europa Oil & Gas has announced that, the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mining Development for Equatorial Guinea has granted a 12-month extension to the first exploration sub-period of the EG-08 block through to 4 October 2027. It is expected that the Barracuda well will be drilled in H1 2027. -

The Nordex Group has announced third-quarter results above market expectations and an upward revision of its EBITDA margin guidance for the full year 2026. Based on the preliminary unaudited third-quarter results and the updated full-year forecast, the Group now expects an EBITDA margin in a range of 11.5 to 12.5%, exceeding the previous guidance of 8.0 to 11.0%. -

CanCambria Energy Corp has awarded the contract for its proprietary Soltvadkert/Tazlar/Alpar ('STA') Shallow Oil 3D seismic survey to Acoustic Geophysical Services ('AGS') of Hungary. Under the terms of the agreement, AGS is scheduled to commence field operations on November 1, 2026, with field acquisition expected to be completed by mid-December 2026. Land permitting is currently underway. -

BW Energy has provided preliminary operational figures for the third quarter of 2026. Net production attributable to BW Energy was 2.0 million barrels of oil (mmbbls) in the third quarter of 2026, equivalent to 21.5 thousand barrels of oil per day (kbopd), from the Dussafu licence in Gabon (73.5% working interest) and the Golfinho field in Brazil (100% working interest). -

Gabon: BW Energy reports positive appraisal results at Dussafu set to fast-track new production well
BW Energy, the operator, has found commercial volumes in both appraisal wells drilled in the Dussafu field in Gabon, with combined recovery estimated at approximately 8-9 million barrels of oil gross. The results support two additional producing wells, the first of which will be drilled in the ongoing MaBoMo Phase 2 campaign, on track for first oil in the first quarter of 2027. -

The top-up barrels reconcile export sales during Q4 2025 to international prices and begin to repay the Company’s outstanding top-up receivables.
