Reconnaissance Energy Africa ('ReconAfrica') has provided an operational update regarding the Kavango West 1X exploration well, onshore Namibia. The Kavango West 1X well is testing a very large structural closure in the Otavi section measuring almost 20 kms long by 3 kms wide. -

Libya: Eni North Africa restarts exploratory drilling in the offshore area northwest of Libya in Contract Area D (MN 41)
Eni North Africa, the Italian energy company, has resumed its exploration activities in the offshore area northwest of Libya, specifically in Block 16/4, after a hiatus of more than five years. This comeback includes re-entering the exploratory well C1-16/4 (also known as BESS-3), where drilling operations were previously halted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. -

Norway: Equinor granted consent for exploration drilling in Block 7018/5 in the Barents Sea.
The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has granted Equinor consent for exploration drilling in Block 7018/5 in the Barents Sea. The well will be drilled by the COSL Prospector semi-submersible drilling unit to test the Vikingskipet Prospect in PL 1236. -

SOCAR and SLB have signed an agreement to accelerate the redevelopment of the Bahar and Gum Deniz fields in the Caspian Sea. Dolphin Drilling has announced the contract fixture of its semi-submersible drilling rig BORGLAND DOLPHIN to REPSOL, a major Spanish multinational energy and petrochemical company, which represents approximately USD 60 million in firm contract backlog. Reabold is selling its total interest in LNE to Beacon Energy for a €16 million earn out mechanism pursuant to which Reabold will receive 25% of its pro rata share of the net cash flow from the Colle Santo project once on production. Germany: Nordex Group secures orders from wpd with a total volume of nearly 126 MW in Germany
