UK: Vestas builds offshore momentum in Europe with another 1.38 GW order in the UK
Vestas has received a firm order for RWE’s 1,380 MW Vanguard East offshore wind project in the United Kingdom. Vanguard East follows Vanguard West, which was confirmed as a firm order last month. Getech and Jordkraft to combine subsurface intelligence with next generation geothermal technology
Getech, a world-leading locator of subsurface resources, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding ('MoU') with Jordkraft Energy, a Swedish geothermal technology company focused on modular, small-scale geothermal power plants. The strategic agreement combines Getech’s global subsurface data and geoenergy expertise with Jordkraft’s geothermal and geoelectrical technology. -

Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas acquires 100% of JHI - including partnership with Navitas in North Falklands Licence
Eco (Atlantic) Oil & Gas has signed a binding agreement with JHI Associates in which Eco has agreed to acquire the issued and to be issued shares of JHI not already held by Eco. This landmark acquisition complements Eco's existing Atlantic Margin portfolio in Namibia and South Africa, whilst adding to its exposure offshore Guyana. The Acquisition also includes an interest in the North Falkland Basin, alongside intended operator and strategic partner Navitas Petroleum. -

Malaysia: SLB OneSubsea secures contract for Deepwater Project Offshore Malaysia
Global energy technology company SLB has announced that its OneSubsea joint venture has been awarded an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract by PTTEP Sabah Oil. The contract expands SLB OneSubsea's role in delivering integrated subsea production systems (SPS) for PTTEP's deepwater portfolio offshore Malaysia. -

The initiative will commence with Phase 1 Mahanadi Basin reimaging and merging of approx. 9000 sq km of 3D seismic data over the offshore East Coast Mahanadi Basin. -

Poland: RWE sold its Polish offshore wind development project to PGE
RWE and PGE have successfully closed the transaction they announced in December. As agreed, PGE has become the sole owner of the F.E.W. Baltic II offshore wind development project in the Polish Baltic Sea. The wind farm has a planned capacity of 350 megawatts and will be located approx. 50 kms from shore, north of the Polish town of Ustka. -

France: Plenitude and Methagora sign a 15-year partnership for the sourcing of biomethane in France
Plenitude and Methagora, a biomethane solutions developer and gas supplier, have signed an agreement covering the sourcing in France of 50 GWh of biomethane per year over a 15-year period, in line with the French legislation concerning the Biomethane Production Certificates (BPC) scheme. Under the agreement, Methagora will sell Plenitude biomethane sourced from a range of agricultural areas in France. -

Munich Airport and energy producer RWE signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) in February 2026. The PPA has a term of ten years and guarantees the airport 40 gigawatt hours (40 million kilowatt hours) of electricity per year from a new RWE wind farm in the North Sea. -
