Denmark: Nobian collaborates with Airengy to explore compressed air energy storage in salt caverns Nobian and energy technology company Airengy have started a collaboration to explore and assess the potential and feasibility of long-duration compressed air energy storage in Nobian-operated salt cavern in Denmark. The collaboration will focus on evaluating Airengy’s compressed air energy storage technology ('AirBattery'), which will store surplus renewable electricity as compressed air in an underground cavern, to be released for power generation when needed. |
