Ghana: Eni and its OCTP partners sign an agreement with the Government of Ghana to strengthen energy production and promote sustainability
Eni, together with its Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) project partners, Vitol and the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), has signed a Memorandum of Intent with the Government of Ghana, represented by the Minister of Energy and Green Transition and the Minister of Finance, targeting the country’s oil and gas production increase and new sustainable initiatives.

Ghana: Shearwater to undertake Ghana’s first deepwater Ocean Bottom Survey
Shearwater Geoservices has been awarded a deepwater Ocean Bottom Node (OBN) seismic survey in Ghana’s Jubilee and TEN fields, operated by Tullow and its partners. It will be the first deepwater OBN project offshore Ghana, following Shearwater’s successful recent deployment of the SW Tasman vessel and Pearl node OBN platform in Côte d’Ivoire and Angola.

The Government of Ghana, Tullow Oil, Kosmos Energy, PetroSA, GNPC and Explorco have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to extend the West Cape Three Points (WCTP) and Deep Water Tano (DWT) licences to 2040, which cover the Jubilee and TEN fields in Ghana.

Tullow reports a successful outcome of its Ghana Tax Arbitration regarding its operations under the Deepwater Tano and West Cape Three Points Petroleum Agreements, offshore Ghana, which include the Jubilee and TEN fields. Tullow Ghana is not liable to pay the $320 million BPRT assessment issued by the Ghana Revenue Authority.
